Customer Appreciation Day 2025

Four years ago, Old South Wood Preserving began operations. Each year since, we’ve celebrated our anniversary by hosting a Customer Appreciation Day. This year’s event was bittersweet as we enjoyed time with our customers while also honoring the legacy of our late owner, Eric Stoll.

“This was the day Eric was always so excited about. When Customer Appreciation Day came around, he would get so worked up about getting everybody here. He was so proud of the team he had put together and the facility he built. I mean, he poured his heart and soul into building this company,” said General Manager Mark Jent.

The outpouring of support and prayers this year has meant more than we can express. It was a privilege to share the day with so many friends and customers who have stood beside us. “Today is about you as customers. Your encouragement, support, and belief in us means everything,” said Mrs. Stoll.

A Day Rooted in Gratitude

We began the day with coffee and breakfast biscuits from a local bakery in Summertown. After a brief welcome and introduction, our sales team guided guests on a tour of the facility, giving customers an up-close look at our treating plant, planer mill, and post mill in action.

Following lunch, guests enjoyed a presentation from Coach Michael Burt. As a bestselling author, speaker, and founder of The Greatness Factory, Michael is widely recognized for inspiring people to unlock their drive and expand their businesses. He was chosen by Eric to speak at this year’s event, making his message especially meaningful.

We wrapped up the day with our prize drawings, giving away a trophy fishing trip, several guns, a Turtle Box speaker, and more.
