The Riverwood Operation
Supplying our fence customers with the best quality posts has always been a priority for Old South Wood Preserving, LLC. When the opportunity arose in November 2025 to purchase a fully operational post mill only 2.5 hours from our facility in Summertown, Tennessee, we knew it was a natural fit for our mission and our long-term operational goals.
Riverwood Forest Products, LLC is located in Bear Creek, Alabama, Riverwood and specializes in transforming Southern Yellow Pine logs into high-quality fence posts. After milling, the posts are dried in our on-site kiln before being transported to Old South Wood for treatment.
We are proud of the experienced and dedicated team of Post Mill Operators at Riverwood. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality ensure every post meets our standards before it ever reaches our customers.
